Sue McInerney
I joined Napoli Management Group in December of 1999 and the past 23 years have been some of the most rewarding of my career. I spent over 24 years in local news, 13 of them as News Director. As a News Director, I always enjoyed hiring and working with young talent and helping them grow and excel in their careers.
I began my broadcasting career at WTAE TV in Pittsburgh, where I worked as a producer, assignment manger and executive producer. In 1982, I got my first News Director’s job at WNEP TV in Wilkes-Barre-Scranton, PA. I then went on to join KDKA TV where I worked as an Executive Producer, Station Operations Manager and was named News Director in 1987. After 10 years as News Director, I joined WFOR in Miami as News Director.
My years in local news management also allowed me to build strong relationships with news managers across the country. I have a great deal of knowledge of the ever-changing industry, and news manager respect my background and experience.
So, the transition to becoming a broadcast talent agent was a natural fit. I believe the client-agent relationship is a partnership and I work hand in hand with my clients to help them achieve their career goals. In my years with NMG, I have had success placing many clients at all levels.
I live in my hometown of Pittsburgh with my golden retriever Chief.
