“Journalism still, in a democracy, is the essential force to get the public educated and mobilized to take action on behalf of our ancient ideals.” –  Doris Kearns Goodwin

I grew up watching TV news and my dream was to be a reporter on the front lines of what was happening. I was lucky enough to do that for several years, but ultimately I realized that my place wasn’t on camera, it was helping those who are to reach their career goals.  And I’m proud to say I’ve been doing that for the last thirty years.

During that time, I’ve placed literally hundreds of journalists in local, network and cable positions. I’m incredibly proud of my clients’ successes and the part I’ve played in helping develop their careers.

After getting my B.A in journalism and political science from the University of Southern California (Fight On!), I worked in front of and behind the camera at KMIR in Palm Springs, California. I started as a reporter, ultimately becoming primary anchor and then the station’s news director. Later, I coached on-air talent as a Talent Consultant for Audience Research & Development in Dallas, Texas before I transitioning to talent representation as an agent for Geller Media Management for ten years.

Since August 2000, I’ve been part of the incredible team at Napoli Management Group.

I’m still a news junkie who stays on top of trends and changes in the industry to insure my clients get the best outcome possible as I help guide their careers.  Today’s newsroom landscape is more demanding than ever and it’s important that my clients know I’m always there to help them and that I put their well-being ahead of everything else.

It’s more than just placing people in jobs and negotiating contracts.  My role also includes mentoring, providing honest feedback on their work, and helping them navigate the business – it’s been the focus of the majority of my professional life. I love helping my clients grow, being able to witness their career trajectories, and celebrating all of life’s changes in-between.

When I’m not working you can find me spending time with my husband and my two grown daughters and watching re-runs of Downton Abbey.
